Warehouse Associate

Nonexempt

Reports To : Branch Manager

Pay Range $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Prepare and complete warehouse orders in a timely manner for delivery and pickup load, pack, wrap, label, ship, receive and process warehouse products.

Unload inventory from incoming trucks. Inspect inventory to ensure materials aren’t damaged.

Clean glass, assessing stock for damage. Affix proper labels to glass.

Break down boxes, stock accessories, organize inventory as directed.

Follow all quality standards, procedures, rules, and regulations in Warehouse environment.

Perform other job tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Be organized, accurate, and adaptable to warehouse environments

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work cohesively as part of a team, and or take direction in an ever-changing working condition

EDUCATION AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS :

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as : viewing a computer terminal; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts;

Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels, and making fine discriminations in sound; Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position and / or upright, for prolonged periods of time, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch occasionally during 8-10-hour work shift.
