Job Description :

This is a 13-week assignment for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) .

Schedule : 12-hour shifts, 36 hours / week, 05 : 30–18 : 00

Location : Close to PNW beaches and Olympic National Forest

Requirements : Current Washington State license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP

Experience : Strong OB experience preferred; team player essential

RTO : Any pre-approved RTO must be added to the end of the contract

Position Overview :

RRTs provide, coordinate, and direct individualized comprehensive respiratory care for patients based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Accountability :

Reports to : Cardiopulmonary Director

In absence of Director : Reports to Lead RRT

Expected to function independently once oriented

Position Requirements :

Current WA State Respiratory Care Practitioner license

Maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications

Practice within scope of RCP

Prefer 1 year acute care experience (new graduates considered)

Physical abilities :

Lift 50 lbs from floor to waist

Lift 50 lbs from wheelchair to bed

Lift 5 lbs overhead

Pull 50 lbs from stretcher to bed

Push 150 lbs loaded stretcher 300 ft

Auditory ability to perform procedures and measure BP accurately

Adequate vision to observe patients and perform charting
