About The Position
Job Title : Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty : Surgical Oncology Job Duration : 13 weeks (with an option to extend) Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year License : Minnesota License Required (will consider IMLC) Certifications : Board Certification (if applicable) Must-Have : Minimum experience required : 1 year Job Description : Need ASAP starts with emergency privileges.
- Work Monday to Friday with no weeknights.- Participate in weekday clinic hours and weekend call rotation (possibly 2 times per 3-month contract).
- Perform 4 hours of rounding on both Saturday and Sunday.- Possibility to float between various locations.- Participate in surgeries and be available for post-op visits.
- Support staff includes an MD in surgical oncology.- Breast surgery experience preferred. - Provider must be in Minnesota to complete fingerprint / DHS background study.
Note : Participation in the background study typically takes 48 hours to post, and results must be posted prior to privileges being granted.
