Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Project Manager to their Austin team!
Responsibilities :
- Supervise / oversee transportation projects
- Lead a variety of projects / studies (roadway, underground utility, drainage, traffic and infrastructure improvements)
- Build / maintain municipal client relationships
- Assist with developing new transportation project business including proposal / contract preparation, project staffing and project interviews
- Manage local / Federal Aid projects for a variety of clients (local agencies, DOT and / or Counties)
- Mentor / train junior staff
- Assist with staffing / hiring needs
- Develop design / quality control standards
Requirements :
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
- PE License or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Roadway / infrastructure design experience using TXDOT and County design criteria
- Experience working with municipalities and county staff
- May require occasional travel to job sites, client meetings and evening functions
- Experience with Microstation / Geopak preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
