Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and recommend commercial terms and operational conditions for gathering, transportation, processing, and purchase contracts for gas, NGLs, and crude oil.
  • Negotiate new agreements or renegotiate existing agreements.
  • Become an expert on existing agreements to ensure compliance with pricing, measurement, commitments, and other contract provisions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate midstream capacity, well connect schedules, and other key commercial data.
  • Work with all areas of the company to analyze and disseminate market information to senior management, financial, legal, and operational departments.
  • Engage with internal departments (e.g., Division Operations, Drilling, Production, Accounting, Legal) and external customers (e.g., Pipelines, LDCs, Processors, Gatherers, Marketers, Refiners).
  • Provide economic and market evaluations to ensure production flows to the highest netback markets.
  • Develop and maintain models to support ongoing Midstream and Marketing needs.
  • Stay informed on key market trends and conditions; communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Land team and Midstream providers for acreage trades and A&D efforts.
  • Prepare and present executive summaries on key projects, strategies, and market conditions.

Assist with various projects and other duties as assigned by managers.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Project management from inception to completion.
  • Experience in Commercial Development, Deal Structuring, and Negotiations.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to interpret contracts and proposals and translate into financial models.
  • Work effectively under moderate to heavy pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Education / Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Energy Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant energy-related experience.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.

    • Salary Range : $143,500 - $246,500

    Position will be filled based on experience.
