Process Engineer
Akkodis is Seeking a Process Engineering Technician contractor for the location of Maple Grove MN. It is a contract Position for 12 months.
Ideally Looking for a candidate with experience in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.
Pay Range : $20 - $25 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Duties
- Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment issues to minimize downtime and meet production goals.
- Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Work with engineers on continuous improvement projects and new product transfers.
- Work with departmental customers to improve material / process quality.
- Identify and assist in resolving safety, health, or environmental issues associated with processes or equipment, and maintain compliance with good manufacturing practices.
- Train and provide technical support to product builders.
- Assist in writing and executing validation protocols and technical reports.
Minimum requirements :
HS Diploma required
Tech degree is preferred / on-the-job training also favorable.
Must have over 6months of extrusion experience and understand terminology.
Polymer processing experience
Mechanical aptitude
Hands on experience.
Recent extrusion experience
Knows extrusion terminology
Someone with a Tech degree, preferred
Someone with on-the-job training
MUST have a mechanical skillset (previous machining, use of tools, hands-on experience)
Polymer processing experience!
