Job Title : Athletic Trainer

Location : 1050 Division Street., Mauston, WI 53948

Duration : Permanent, Full Time

Education : Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology required

Shift Details : Monday-Friday with evening coverage for events

Job Description :

• Cover athletic events and after-school activities at a contracted high school.
• Prevention, evaluation, and management / rehab of athletic injuries : collect histories, perform physical evaluations, diagnose injuries, and determine a plan of action. Coordinate schedules for coverage of events.
• Communicate findings and plan of action with athlete, their parent, and the coach.
• Must hold and maintain a current Athletic Trainer license in the state of Wisconsin. Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers, BLS certification required, Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
