The Senior Investment Operations Associate Alternative Investments will act as the right hand to the COO, ensuring the seamless operation and administration of our client’s new alternative investment division.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the investment team, contributing to a dynamic and rapidly growing environment.
The ideal candidate will be adept at leveraging technology to enhance processes and drive efficiency. This position offers a competitive starting salary up to $130,000.
Senior Investment Operations Associate Alternative Investments Responsibilities :
- Oversee the accounting functions of the management company
- Assist with financial planning, reporting, tax and investor relations
- Provide high-quality financial forecasting, reporting and analysis to support decision-making
- Manage contribution and distribution notices, capital account statements, quarterly portfolio summary reports, waterfall calculations and gross and net IRR calculations
- Develop and maintain systems for data warehousing, analytics and data integrity
- Leverage technology to continuously improve sustainable, efficient processes
- Support fund administration, human resources, technology, reporting and compliance functions
- Assist with human resources, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data integrity, vendor due diligence and compliance
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are met and reporting deadlines are adhered to, including SEC registration and compliance
Senior Investment Operations Associate Alternative Investments Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and / or Accounting, CPA preferred
- 3+ years of experience in private market investments (e.g., private equity, fund of funds), preferably in an investment / financial services role
- Intellectually creative and curious with robust analytical reasoning
- Proven problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking
- Strong team player, self-starter and independent thinker
