POSITION SUMMARY
As our Remote Business Development Specialist , you will play a key role in appointment setting, lead generation, and marketing activities to support the agency’s growth.
This part-time, fully remote role requires 4-6 hours per day and is ideal for individuals with customer service experience, sales acumen, and a strong ability to manage lead pipelines.
Additionally, this role has the opportunity to foster creativity through managing and executing on marketing initiatives including but not limited to development of social media content, coordinating and supporting events and participating in community outreach.
You will be responsible for initiating contact with prospective clients, nurturing leads, and representing our agency with professionalism and kindness.
This position offers an opportunity to refine your sales and customer relationship skills, while contributing to an impactful, supportive organization.

OBJECTIVES
Appointment Setting & Lead Generation :
- Conduct cold and warm calls to prospective clients to identify needs and introduce our agency’s offerings.
- Engage leads in meaningful conversations to qualify them and schedule appointments with our team.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of lead interactions and follow-up activities within our (CRM) system.
Pipeline Management :
- Manage and track the progress of leads from initial contact through appointment setting.
- Provide consistent follow-up to keep leads engaged and to ensure all prospects receive timely responses.
Marketing & Content Creation Support :
- Assist in creating visual content on Canva for social media, digital advertising campaigns, and event promotion.
- Help develop social media posts that promote our services, engage our audience, and build our brand presence.
- Support management of digital ad campaigns on Google and / or Facebook, monitoring performance and helping adjust as needed.
Community Outreach & Engagement :
- Support relationship-building with our Centers of Influence (COI) contacts by scheduling meetings and assisting with virtual or in-person networking events.
- Develop client connections by assisting in planning and coordinating community events or agency-sponsored gatherings.
Reputation Management :
- Monitor and respond to Google reviews to foster positive client relationships and enhance our agency’s online reputation.
- Support with client onboarding process as needed and ensuring clients are well nurtured
COMPETENCIES
- Proven ability to connect with clients and make a strong first impression.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in lead qualification and client engagement.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and follow-ups effectively
- Comfortability with cold and warm calling and ability to move prospects through a pre-defined sales process
- Proactive, disciplined, and able to work independently to meet goals. You take initiative and follow through on commitments.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Canva, and basic digital advertising is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general tech-savviness required.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in a professional setting
- 2+ years experience with sales or lead generation
- 5+ years in a customer facing or service based role
- Dedicated Hours available to work; uninterrupted
