What You’ll Do
As Executive Sous Chef, you’ll play a critical leadership role in our culinary team, helping to lead day-to-day kitchen operations with a focus on a la carte dining. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure exceptional food quality, smooth service, and a strong team culture built on standards and mentorship.
- Lead and support daily a la carte service with consistency and high standard
- Supervise, train, and mentor cooks and kitchen staff with professionalism and care
- Expedite service during busy meal periods and ensure flawless plate presentation
- Assist in menu development for both restaurant and banquet offerings
- Support banquet and event execution from prep through service
- Collaborate on scheduling, station assignments, and shift supervision
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and allergy protocol compliance
- Participate in weekly event meetings and align with front-of-house leadership
- Assist with ordering, inventory, and cost control processes
- Lead by example in energy, composure, and commitment to excellence
What You Bring
5+ years of progressive kitchen experience, with at least 3 years in a sous chef or leadership roleCulinary degree or equivalent experience preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsProven ability to lead with a calm, supportive, and accountable presenceKnowledge of modern cooking techniques and dietary accommodationsExperience in private clubs, fine dining, or hospitality-driven kitchens is a plusHigh standards for food quality, cleanliness, and team collaborationWhat We Offer
