Senior Business System Analyst

Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with several different groups throughout the organization. As a member of the Applications Management team, this role offers the opportunity to deliver business-critical solutions through our enterprise Salesforce platform.

The Business Applications team is responsible for the implementation, support, and enhancement of internal systems and processes across the organization.

The team works closely with all teams and gains a deep understanding of how each one functions to ensure they have the appropriate tools and processes to focus on their core competencies.

Specifically, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the following :

• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders who have dynamic requirements and striking a balance between strategic objectives and tactical needs;
• Analyzing complex business processes and identifying gaps and improvements;
• Working with business users and team members to define requirements and deliver best practice solutions;
• Supporting internal applications on a go-forward basis, including responsibility for user support, training, and subject matter expertise across our portfolio of internal solutions;
• Managing small-to-medium sized projects and participating in larger projects run by the Applications Management team;
• Analyzing and scoping incoming project requests from business and working with leadership to adjust the project roadmap as necessary;
• Performing business analysis for prioritized projects to define Salesforce related business requirements for partners within service, sales, marketing, and finance;
• Conducting system and user testing to mitigate risks associated with the implementation or enhancement of systems and processes.
• Focusing on the application of technology within customers' and organization's business environments;
• Identifying, analyzing, documenting, communicating, and validating requirements for changes to information systems and business processes;
• Demonstrating specialized expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues and develop creative solutions;
• Recommending new procedures; and
• Training new members of the Business Applications Team.
