Structural Bridge Engineer Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- NBIS Qualified Team Leader
- PE or EIT licensure in MA
- Completion of one or more NHI Courses for Bridge Safety, Bridge Inspection, Tunnel Safety and / or Ancillary Highway Structures
- Working knowledge of MassDOT and DCR Bridge Design, Rating, and Inspection Programs
Structural Bridge Engineer Responsibilities :
- Conduct bridge inspections and prepare inspection reports
- Perform bridge load rating and prepare rating reports
- Prepare cost proposal and work hour estimates
- Perform bridge design for new construction, rehabilitation, and replacement projects
- Perform work on site, in office, and remotely
