JOB SUMMARY
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor to ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
This role includes managing a team of production workers, coordinating production schedules, monitoring workflow, and ensuring quality standards are met.
The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining productivity, meeting deadlines, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optimizing operations through leading, motivating, and supporting associates within the assigned shift.
- Observing and monitoring the optimal deployment of labor, material and time to meet production schedules.
- Evaluates employees through performance reviews, ongoing coaching and feedback methods.
- Monitor production related metrics to ensure optimum performance from all associates.
- Planning and coordinating repairs should malfunctions occur.
- Troubleshoot to determine corrective actions for nonconformances to product / equipment.
- Motivate associates to exhibit good housekeeping.
- Maintain associates time / schedule within payroll system.
- Lead / participate in safety related activities including accident investigations on assigned shift.
- Assist in operator training.
- Maintain safe work practices at all times.
- Enter / verify production data in ERP system.
- Participate / lead in continuous improvement activities associated with assigned shift.
- Assists in monthly physical inventory as required.
- Complies with company, quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years related experience and / or training.
