About The Position

Hourly Salary : $18.00per hour and then would increase dependingon experience.Annual Salary : $37,440Agency Placement Fee 25%A Certified Sterile Processing Techwill perform various indirect patient care activities and related services under the direction of the professional staff .

Essential duties include : Performing decontamination, distribution, inventory, instrumentation and sterilization duties.

Adheres to safety and professional standards of conduct as a processing technician. Initiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers and customers.

Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values.

Required Physical and Environmental job requires the ability to walk six to eight miles in an eight-hour shift and to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50pounds.

This job also requires that an individual be able to work under periods of high stress and in a consistently fast-paced environment.

Surgical Instrument Processor Certification Required. OnCall : On call on the weekends from 7 : 00 am 8 : 00 pm with staggered start times.
