1st Shift Inventory Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized entry-level inventory clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and supporting supply chain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchasing orders as required.
• Count parts utilizing stairs to reach material for the automotive industry (rolling stairs may range from 7-15 steps long).
• Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile physical counts with system records.
• Receive, unpack, and store incoming materials and supplies.
• Track and document inventory movements using inventory management software and RF scanner.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages.
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory area.

Work Environment

The work environment is typically loud due to machinery such as forklifts operating throughout the facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 5 : 00 AM to 1 : 30 PM. Employees are required to wear plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes. Logos for alcoholic beverages are not permitted on clothing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
