Job Title : Paralegal
Location : REMOTE
PositionOverview : We are seeking a skilled and proactiveParalegal to join our law firm. The Paralegal will work closelywith attorneys to provide support in various legal mattersincluding research document drafting case management and clientcommunication.
This role requires strong organizational abilitiesattention to detail and a solid understanding of legal proceduresand terminology.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Assist attorneys with case management tasks includingorganizing and maintaining case files.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws regulations andlegal articles.
- Draft legaldocuments such as pleadings motions contracts andagreements.
- Coordinate with clientswitnesses and other involved parties to schedule meetingsdepositions and court appearances.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts andgovernment agencies.
- Review andsummarize documents including medical records anddepositions.
- Assist in trialpreparation including organizing exhibits and assisting duringhearings.
- Maintain confidentialityof sensitive information and uphold ethical standards.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Bachelor s degree in Paralegal Studies LegalStudies or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (23 years) working as a paralegal in alaw firm.
- Proficiency in legalresearch methods and resources including Westlaw orLexisNexis.
- Strong knowledge oflegal terminology principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal andwritten.
- Ability to prioritizetasks and manage time effectively in a fastpacedenvironment.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite and legal case managementsoftware.
PreferredSkills :
- Certification as a Paralegal (CP) or similarcredential.
- Experience in FamilyLaw
- Familiarity with ediscoverysoftware and procedures.

Proficiency in legal terminology, procedures, andsoftware applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, legaldatabases). 4.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. 5.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. 6.Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in afast-paced environment.
