Peak Partners has a client who is a growing commercial sign fabrication company in Baltimore County who is looking to hire a Production Associate who can be the company’s primary fabrication specialist.
While experience is preferred, they will train the right candidate, who possesses the attitude and determination to work in a team environment and who will focus on the needs of the customer.
Preferred skills & experience :
- Design experience.
- Technical knowledge of computers and willing to learn to be proficient in various software programs.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player who likes to create.
Duties and responsibilities :
- Uses various production tools and software to include a printer, laminator, and plotter.
- Weeds, trims, tapes, and lays vinyl; loads and cuts vinyl on a plotter.
- Masks, weeds, and applies vinyl to substrates.
- Prepares substrates, to include cutting, drilling, rounding corners, painting, etc.
- Maintains machinery in good working order.
- Makes boxes and packages products for shipping.
- Ensures quality control / proof reading / correcting artwork before production.
- Works with Sales and Project managers on jobs to ensure efficiency, schedules production due dates, and ensures use of correct methods and materials.
- Collaborates with other team members on client consultations.
- Safely operates company equipment.
- Maintains machinery in good working order.
- Keeps a running inventory of all stock and supplies.
- Maintains an organized, clean, and professional work area and personal appearance always.
- Maintains a safe work area, in accordance with OSHA standards and requirements.
