Developmental Brain Injuries Division (DBIS) - Hampden County Programs

Pay : $18.00-$20.00

Position Summary :

Position Responsibilities :

• Work in multiple residential locations (Behavioral and / or Brain Injury) assigned by Director.
• Assist residents with ADLs (which may include the use of adaptive equipment); dining guidelines / protocols.
• Help prepare meals, clean, do laundry, grocery shopping, and help keep the home pleasant and comfortable.
• Transportation to / from appointments, community events, etc.
• Complete daily shift notes, data tracking, and any other individual record keeping that may be assigned.
• Assist with the development and implementation of individual support goals.
• Administer medications (MAP Certified).
• Remain current on agency certifications / trainings.
• Other programmatic tasks assigned by the Program Director / Site Manager.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 6 months; and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Medication Administration Certificate required.
• CPR / First Aid certification.
• Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges (PABC Restraint Certificate).
• Physical ability to perform the requirements of this position and ensure residents' safety.
• Basic computer / office skills.
• Background check (CORI).
