We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.

This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen eye for detail.

Description

  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any on-site issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address concerns.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Support the Project Manager in negotiating contracts and change orders.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
