Our Tax Solutions Team provides tax compliance and planning services for individuals, estates and trust, businesses (Partnership, S Corps, C Corps), and resolving tax controversy issues with federal and state tax authorities.

As a Tax Manager with the Mahoney Tax Solutions Team, you will assume a pivotal role in providing a variety of tax and accounting functions for clients, including :

  • Engage in tax research, strategize essential tax preparations, and stay current on new tax legislation
  • Conduct small business tax preparation for a variety of client return types such as partnership, S Corps, and individual
  • Collaborate with our Real Estate Solutions Team to provide comprehensive tax advice to our clients i the real estate industry
  • Consistently provide effective communication across organization levels internally and with various clients to build and maintain a strong relationship
  • Leading, managing, developing staff, while sustaining a dynamic team environment and facilitating tax preparation training for team members
  • Utilization of Excel and Word for the following tasks :
  • Analyze large amounts of data, create financial reports, and generate reports
  • Create and manage financial statements, tax returns, and audit reports
  • Automate tasks such as data entry, report generation, and data analysis

Our preferred candidates will have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license (or working toward completion) and 5+ years of experience of public accounting
  • Experience in tax planning and consulting; Estate and trust experience is a plus
  • Prior experience with CCH software products (Axcess Tax, Engagement, Document) is a plus

We offer a competitive base pay range of $90,000 to $115,000 per year. During busy season, most accountants work 55-hour weeks.
