Full-Time NIGHTS
Registered Nurse candidates for the Med / Surg Unit will have the following job responsibilities :
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
- Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
- Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
- Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
- Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
- Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.

Registered Nurse candidates for the Med / Surg Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications :
Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.Candidates need to have ACUTE CARE RN EXPERIENCE (it doesn't need to be in the Med-Surg)The ACUTE CARE RN EXPERIENCE needs to be within 3 years UNLESS THE CANDIDATE HAS SEVERAL YEARS OF OF RN EXPERIENCE THEN IT CAN BE WITHIN THE LAST 5 YEARS!!!Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and / or equipment up to 50 pounds.Sal range : $__27__ (2yr)- __31____ (5 yr)- ____34___ (10yr) __39___ (15yr MAX)
