Overview

The Company : Our client is a brand experience agency seeking a Senior Creative Director to join their team in a full-time capacity. The client delivers conferences, exhibitions, festivals and activations for a diverse range of brands across multiple verticals. The role is remote-hybrid within the New York City area.

The Role : The Senior Creative Director will develop and mentor a creative and design team, work across a range of B2B and B2C events and experiences from conferences to exhibitions to tradeshows and activations, and drive the creative process from inception to execution for events. This position requires a highly experienced leader who can cultivate the team and deliver immersive experiences both live and digital.

Responsibilities

Leading the creative process (concept of theme, design, creation, strategy rationale, and implementation) while collaborating with production teams, freelancers and vendors to ensure successful delivery of defined projects
Leading and mentoring creative and design staff
Understanding the client, their business, brand, products, customers, and audience experience
Translating client objectives and problems into creative, innovative, immersive experiences and content for live and digital environments
Client relationship management and communications

Ideal background / Qualifications

8-10 years experiential / brand experience agency background in events, preferably as a Creative Director, Senior Creative Director or Design Director

Background in experiential 3D / spatial and / or graphic design

Passion for events and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure agency environment

Experience weaving themes and strategic messaging into communications for live and digital audiences

Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment (in person and remotely), present options and solutions thoughtfully and confidently

Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously

Strong project management and client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results

Excellent computer skills and experience writing and managing client briefs

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Flexible, dependable, detail-oriented, innovative and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional events

Ability to work independently and efficiently remotely

Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed; overnight travel for events and local / intrastate travel may be required

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

The anticipated package for this position is $175,000 - $200,000 plus benefits, dependent on experience and other factors such as market location and role complexity.
