Concrete Laborer
Location : Kansas City, KS
Pay Rate : $19-21 / hr.
Job Summary :
Become a Concrete Laborer with us and play a crucial role in the fabrication of precast concrete products. You will be responsible for setting up forms, laying mesh, and ensuring high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Basic Skill Development :
- Set up and oil forms
- Lay mesh
- Tie reinforcing bars and steel
- Set inserts
- Strike off
- Strip forms
- Clean up work areas
Productivity and Initiative :
- Engage in daily tasks related to concrete product fabrication
- Communicate availability for other assignments
- Show consistent improvement in task performance
Attendance and Reliability :
Maintain regular and punctual attendance in line with company policy
Teamwork and Company Loyalty :
- Demonstrate loyalty and respect towards colleagues
- Act as a team player and seek ways to improve work processes
Safety Compliance :
Adhere to plant safety standards as per the Safety Manual and Safety Coordinator’s guidelines
Qualifications :
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- Consistent production of high-quality work
- Basic mathematical skills, including area and volume calculations
- Basic understanding of geometry concepts
- Problem-solving skills to define issues, collect data, and draw conclusions
- Willingness to learn new skills based on customer requirements
