Mary's Woods is looking for an energetic, compassionate and team oriented Medication Technician or Certified Medication Aide to join our Health Services department.

We are looking for someone to work collaboratively and provide excellent care to older adults while continuing to promote our mission and vision.

Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego.

Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience and skills needed to be successful :

  • Facilitate the day to day coordination of resident orders, including electronic recording
  • Make follow up medical appointments for residents and assure transportation is set up
  • Assist the Nurse on duty and Caregivers when needed
  • Promote positive communication with residents, visitors, families, vendors and staff
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with residents, families, vendors and staff
  • At a minimum, working every other weekend is a requirement for this position.

Education and Experience Required :

  • Prefer current and unencumbered Medication Aide Certification with the Oregon State Board of Nursing, or equivalent experience as a medication aide
  • Required to obtain your Current First Aid Card, CPR Card and Food Handler's card within 30 days of employment

Pay : From $21.00 per hour

The starting wage depends on experience, certification and education.

Shifts Available :

  • Day (6 : 30 am - 3 : 00 pm)
  • Evening (2 : 30 pm - 11 : 00 pm)
  • Night (10 : 30 pm - 7 : 00 am)
