A Project Manager at LMI must be able to identify new and existing business opportunities and be able to plan, execute and supervise projects to ensure project delivery on time within budget.
Project types will vary from detailed drawings to design-build services depending on customer type and needs.
LMI has a vast customer base intact and is looking for someone to maximize on readily available opportunities while also searching for new opportunities.
Duties of a Project Manager include but are not limited to :
- Reaching out to existing customers for new business opportunities
- Respond to website, email and phone call inquiries for services
- Communicate with customers from initial contact to project completion
- Visit customer sites to develop detailed estimates
- Obtain quotes from vendors and sub-contractors
- Read and understand project specifications
- Prepare submittal documents
- Order materials based on project estimates
- Schedule vendors and sub-contractors if required
- Develop schedules and completion dates
- Working with GC’s, owners and other trades as necessary
- Attend site visits and meetings
- Manage field staff to ensure project efficiency
- Project closeout and as-builts as required
Requirements :
- Journeyman Electrician license required
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Read and interpret drawings & specifications
- Verify electrical load requirements and circuitry
- Underground and above ground conduit construction
- Vast knowledge of NEC as well as standards for construction installation methods
- Concrete pole base construction experience preferred
- General knowledge and experience of construction site work and equipment to include excavators, skid loaders, aerial lift equipment, concrete construction, site layout, etc.
