Title : Data Engineer

Location : Must be local and work onsite 4-5 days per week in client office in midtown NYC

KDB+ / Q database engineer

KDB+ / Q. KDB+ / Q (KDB+ is an ultra low latency high performance time series DB that is used by quant / trading firms that drive millisecond efficiency). Q is the programming language to interact with KDB+ databases.

Coding : Can actually write code

o Architecture knowledge : 10%

o Operational : 25%

KDB Dev : 65%

Focus on KDB+ / Q engineering skill (get requirements from client development team, implement and test, and release to production)

Ansible configuration, Shell scripting
