Speech Language Pathologist Position Details :
- Start Date : ASAP
- Hours : Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Contract Duration : Full School Year
- Location : Phoenix, AZ
- Pay Rate : $40-$44 per hour (Based on Experience)
Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities :
- Maintains accurate, complete, and appropriate records and files reports promptly
- Demonstrates accurate and up-to-date knowledge of content Identifies students exhibiting fine motor or sensory processing disorders through evaluation and analyzing deficits in motor skills of students found in the identification process
- Participates in IEP meetings in order to relate pertinent data used in the determination of students’ needs
- Appropriately schedules students
- Provides consultative services to teachers, parents, administrators, and allied agencies in order to address fine motor goals into the classroom, other education programs, and the home environment
- Evaluates and reports student progress for continuation or termination of services
- Participates with school administration / coordinators for effective planning, coordination, and implementation of occupational therapy program into the total education system
- Adheres to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice
Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications :
- Arizona Speech Language Pathologist License
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the ability to develop and implement them effectively.
- Effective communication and people skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
