Responsibilities

As a Medical Pod Leader , you will be the clinical leader responsible for the performance of your clinical pod team. Your role will encompass :

  • Accurate diagnosis and documentation
  • Enhancing patient experience and safety
  • Fostering team dynamics and provider productivity
  • Building strong relationships with all clinical team members
  • Collaborating with advanced practice providers (APPs) as their supervising physician
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and collaborate with assigned APPs and physicians, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Participate in ride-alongs with APPs to enhance collaboration.
  • Lead high-risk huddles and ensure comprehensive care plans are documented.
  • Conduct chart audits and provide guidance on patient care questions.
  • Review quality metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with patient care for complex cases and lead clinical education initiatives.
  • Manage performance reviews and disciplinary actions for direct reports.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Medical Director to enhance care quality.

  • Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Active CPR Certification
  • Active Medical License
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 1 year of experience at HarmonyCares Medical Group
  • Board Certification
  • Pay Transparency
