The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Preventive Maintenance : Perform regular preventive maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs : Diagnose issues with machinery and equipment, develop effective solutions, and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Equipment Installation : Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Collaboration : Work closely with production staff to identify and resolve mechanical issues, and provide technical support as needed.
- Inventory Management : Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of necessary parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for improving machinery efficiency and production processes, and implement approved enhancements.
- Emergency Response : Be available for emergency repairs outside of regular working hours, as needed.
Qualifications :
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills : Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery repair techniques.
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is essential.
- Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve issues quickly.
- Physical Ability : Capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-Oriented : High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
