Conductinterviews with the CDPS IT organization to gather detailedinformation.

Comply with law enforcementpolicies

Experience leading and conducting interviews with diverse ITstakeholders.

Proficiency in documenting and diagramming ITenvironments.

Awareness of CMDB and application portfolio managementtools.

Ability to complete CJIS onboarding andfingerprinting.

Assist the OIT Portfolio Manager during the initial stages ofproject initiation including discovery and initiationphases.

Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop requirements andsupport solution engineering in defining and planning projectinitiatives.

Limit the time spent on highlevel estimates and impact assessmentsto no more than 15 hours during the Gate 0 : project rationalizationphase.

Leading project initiationphases.

Interfacing with stakeholders to understand business cases andsolicitrequirements.

Consulting withsolution engineers to align requirementsclearly.

QUALIFICATIONS : A bachelors degree in business IT / Computer Science or a relatedfield is standard Agile Business analysis Data analysis skills JiraMicrosoft Excel Proven experience in eliciting requirements andtesting Solid experience in writing SQL queries Basic knowledge ingenerating process documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities : Gather business requirements from users and translate intofunctional and technical specifications Document business processesand provide best practices recommendations Work as a liaisonbetween the business and IT (QA test developers) Translate businessneeds into effective requirements statements Assess the businessimpact of requested and ongoing systems improvements Participate onproject teams to ensure that implementation satisfies the businessneed and maximizes process and system integration Participates inenterpriselevel project teams to identify and implement process andsystem improvements.

Works with stakeholders to identifyimprovements and assess their relative priority Determines theappropriate course of action for new requests : immediate resolutionthrough existing functionality support request for quickimplementation or as part of a larger project Utilize experience inbusiness processes for IT systems;

business case development;requirements gathering; gap analysis; process mapping; solutiondesign; and support Actively manages customer expectations andcommunicates status of pending projects Tracks backlog of requestsand works with customer to incorporate these into subsequentprojects based on priority Proven ability to take complex businessrequirements translating those requirements into functionalrequirements Requirements : Bachelors degree 7 years experience asbusiness analyst focused on enterprise applications and IT systemsBusiness process expertise desired in the areas of Accounting andBilling Finance / Controlling HR / Benefits / Payroll ProcurementContract Management Quality Assurance Legal / Regulatory Experiencein business case development requirements gathering and definitiongap analysis process mapping solution design Ability to handlemultiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic deadlineorientedenvironment Proven success as a business analyst with demonstratedability to facilitate discussion and build consensus Ability toproduce quality requirements documents process maps use casediagrams.

Ability to use various tools such as Visio and powerpoint to graphically represent work flow diagrams process flow andother informationgathered.
