$25/hr. Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC) Supervisor, Full Time

Overview

The purpose of this position is to provide supervision and guidance to the Per Mar Security staff at two / 7 Physical Security Operations Centers.

The position is based primarily in Pewaukee, WI with oversite of a secondary PSOC in Cottage Grove, WI. Supervisory duties include ensuring proper employee performance by adhering to company and client policies and procedures, training employees and scheduling officers to ensure proper security is maintained at the client site according to client contract needs.

This position requires knowledge of access control systems such as Ccure, remote video monitoring, motion activated alarms, computer alarm notification, investigative and report writing skills as well as extensive customer service experience.

Individuals with prior supervisory, management, law enforcement, military, EMS experience will be prioritized. What : Physical Security Operations Center Supervisor (PSOC)

Monday-Friday, The position is full time, + hours per week, primarily on day shift, Mon - Fri. Flexibility is needed to randomly monitor and interact with the security team on others shifts and weekends.

Ability to visit the secondary PSOC in Cottage Grove is mandatory and engage with the PSOC staff at that location is a requirement. $ per hour!

Minimum Requirements :

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Two to five years previous supervisory and / or security experience and / or training, or combination
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to obtain specified licenses / certifications to perform work in the security industry according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the State in which the branch operates.
• Advanced computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. Internet skills required.
• Must have experience in writing reports and correspondence.
• Prior experience developing, updating and presenting policies and procedures.
• Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Must be able to effectively work with people at all levels of the organization internally and externally.
• Must be able to physically perform all Security Officer duties on all shifts and the site(s) supervised.

Job Skills / Requirements

Objectives :

• Supervise team of security officers at multiple locations
• Travel between locations to check on security officers and sites
• Ensure security officer coverage at job sites and officer compliance based on company and client policies

In this role, you will :

• Directly supervise Physical Security Operations Center Officers at two locations.
• Schedule Security Officers.
• Assist with the preparation and communication of procedures.
• Assist with interviewing prospective employees.
• Act as liaison between client and the branch office.
• Assist with the resolution of client issues and complaints.
• Communicate with General or Operations Manager on regular basis.
• Review and ensure all payroll information is accurate for employees.
• Oversee training of all new Security Officers.
• Maintain, review and distribute required reports and records.
• Conduct regular security post checks at the assigned account.
