Full-Time Occupational Therapist Opportunity Near Vancouver, WA
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a school district near Vancouver, WA. This full-time position offers the chance to work with students across grades K-12, providing essential support to enhance their educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Address a variety of needs including fine motor skills, sensory processing, and mobility
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to support therapy goals
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
