Position : Senior Project Manager DFW Civil Landside
Responsible for the leadership and management of the team in support of the project’s success, including proactively managing the project’s technical budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and project performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ownership of project’s scope, schedule, and budget across all phases
- Planning coordination
- Stakeholder design coordination
- Designer coordination and scope management
- Change management
- Quality assurance of designer quality control
- Invoice review and approval
- Peer review of deliverables and reporting
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to interface effectively with airport stakeholders and the public
- Ensures adequate communication between the project team, Planning and Development Department, and all project stakeholders
- Provides regular progress reports identifying current performance and highlighting decisions required
- Works with the Project Director to establish participation goals for projects
- Holds regular project team meetings to coordinate activities and monitor progress on assigned projects
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management and 10-15 years’ experience in roadway / utility design construction projects
- Landside or horizontal (roads and bridges) experience is strongly preferred
- Must be able to pass security clearance requirements and background check
- Possession of a valid driver’s license suitable for operation of company vehicles
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices applied in planning, design, and construction of airport engineering
- Proven leadership and verbal / written communication skills; proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Oracle Contract Manager, and Primavera P6
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including advanced skills in project management and data analysis tools
- Ability to understand, review, and approve construction financial documents, budgets, and payment authorizations

Position is based at DFW Design, Code & Construction Office
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $125,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
