Finance Manager (Technical Accounting)
The Finance Manager will be a key member of the company’s finance and accounting team. This position will manage various aspects of the company’s financial reporting processes including the preparation of monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and other ad hoc tasks as needed.
This position will also assist with analyzing accounting records, financial statements and financial reports, and investigating and resolving accounting issues.
All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

FINANCE MANAGEMENT FAMILY - CORE
- Serves as key member of the company’s financial reporting team by leading the research, analysis, and implementation efforts for all technical accounting matters
- Completes periodic reviews of and provides ongoing support for the company’s monthly account reconciliations.
- Assists with coordination of external financial statement, ESOP, and (k) audits
- Prepares budgets and forecasts and performs variance analysis and other management analysis.
- Prepares, examines and analyzes accounting records, financial statements and financial reports. Assesses accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Helps develop, implement, modify and document record-keeping and accounting systems.
- Looks for ways to increase operational efficiency and company profits through cost savings, profit enhancements, etc. Communicates findings to team members and supervisors.
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
- Communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficiency in MS Office Intermediate
- Proficiency in Excel Advanced
- Ability to understand and implement best practice standards
- Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources
- Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems
- Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail

- In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered.
- 4+ Years public accounting experience (Preferred)
- CPA (Preferred)
