Job Description :
- Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments.
- Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after dialysis procedures.
- Operate dialysis equipment and ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, home care, and symptom management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) license in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain one.
- CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) or CDN (Certified Dialysis Nurse) certification preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dialysis nursing.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
