We have an amazing DIRECT HIRE opportunity. If you are great at customer service and inside sales with at least 1-3 years experience, this might be the role for you.

Under the direction of the Director of Sales and Distributor Principal, you will support sales growth initiatives for this organization.

You will execute an annual inside sales operating plan aligned to the company's strategic plan and growth initiatives. This includes support marketing and campaign plans, outside sales representative targeted accounts, and growth of smaller accounts.

Responsibilities

Inside Sales Operating Plan (ISOP)

  • Works with Director of Sales and Sales Team to create an annual operating plan aligned to company growth goals and strategic plan
  • Creates 3-6 annual goals with metrics and targeted activities to execute plan
  • Researches account targets via LinkedIn, company Business System and internet searches and publications to learn about target accounts and business opportunities
  • Creates objectives and action plans for targeted accounts including key activities and milestones to achieve success as well as key indicators on when to disqualify targets
  • Makes outbound sales calls to targeted accounts
  • Logs all call activity in the company’s CRM (HubSpot)
  • Creates appointments for self and outside sales representatives to meet and make sales calls to target accounts

Marketing Support

  • Works closely with Marketing & Communications to determine where Inside Sales Rep supports ongoing marketing campaign efforts and initiatives
  • Attends monthly Marketing meetings

Online Experience - .com Registrants

  • Manages .com Registrants with Marketing & Communications
  • Follows up with .com Registrants via phone and assigns action to Outside Sales Representative

Training Program Customers

  • Owns the list of completed trainings and owns the calendar for scheduling future trainings
  • Develops a training package and ensures registered customers receive a professional and formal registration packet and welcome email
  • Helps us understand good opportunities for Field Engineer involvement
  • Coordinates with sales rep and customer to schedule trainings (i.e. sales rep finds the training opportunity and pass to Inside Sales to work out the details - # of attendees, cost based upon segmentation, location, materials, meals, etc.)
  • Gathers materials at local office including literature needs, name tents, etc and is present on day of training to set up the room (projector, computer, presentation, name tents, food)
  • Provides follow up survey to customers on presentation of material, etc. thank you notes for participation to enhance the experience of the customers that we train
  • Manages these trainings as opportunities in SAP and helps Director of Sales & sales team follow up and better understand ROI of training

Administrative & Reporting

  • Schedules Monthly Inside Sales Operation Plan (ISOP) Review Meeting with Director of Operations & Sales Process
  • Creates monthly ISOP reporting metrics, action items and action plan
  • Creates Inside Sales Quarterly Update (ISQU) on progress
  • Creates ISQU update to company via newsletter or video
  • Supports other company events such as annual Customer Appreciation BBQs
  • Supports Sales Team with daily sales reports distribution (formerly known as SDTL) runs report and emails from SAP
  • Supports Sales Team with Quarterly Territory Update (QTU), provides template, distributes and shares captured information with Distributor and Director of Sales

Education

Education in an area of Business required-Associates, Bachelor's in Business Administration preferred

Experience

1-3 years in leading sales initiatives, excellent project management skills preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Mechanical aptitude / mindset preferred
  • Sales experience
  • Great work ethic and desire to represent a product of highest quality
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and ambitious in executing own business plan
  • Strong understanding of project ownership and accountability
