About The Position

An FQHC is seeking a pediatrics nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

In Manhattan, New York, you can explore iconic attractions like Central Park, Times Square, and the Museum of Modern Art, immersing yourself in the city's vibrant culture.

The credentialing timeframe for this position requires a physical exam, which can be completed onsite if necessary, as well as three reference letters, taking approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

The schedule is typically Monday through Friday from either 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM, amounting to a 40-hour workweek, though one hour must be taken as an unpaid lunch, resulting in 35 working hours.

While the facility prefers a full-time schedule, they are open to candidates who can commit to three days a week. The call schedule involves minimal on-call responsibilities, with one other pediatrician and two physician assistants rotating every other month, covering 24 hours at a time.

Required certifications include a New York license, DEA, BLS, and board certification or eligibility, along with an infectious control certification.
