About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Experience : 2 years required License : Valid State License required;
- specifics depend on location Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have : - PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown experience - Telemetry skills - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Job Description : - Work in an Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) setting - Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity if census drops - Weekend Shifts : 10 shifts per contract - Accepts first-time travelers - Facility has a total of 214 staffed beds - Must wear navy blue / white scrubs;
- scrubs not provided - Charting experience with Cerner - Required to have the flu vaccine; no exemptions allowed - May come into contact with COVID-19 patients - Orientation includes 28 hours (50% non-billable) - Modules are required pre-start and potentially during orientation, average 12 hours;
- modules are billable up to 4 hours - RTO must be on the initial submission for the full 13 weeks with no more than 7 days off preferred and no RTO the first two weeks - Must provide two supervisor references - Local candidates accepted under the local rule - Return staff must have left previous employment for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler - Interview by manager is optional;
