Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30AM - 5 : 00PM; on campus with possibility of remote
Job Duties :
30% - Responsible for administrative and programmatic services related to MUSC’s Charleston Consortium Internship Program.
Including 200+ yearly applicants and approximately 24 matched interns per training year (Aug-July). Incumbent will manage recruitment, interviews, faculty ratings, and intern progress evaluations, working with APPIC, VA, and interns’ home training programs for interns enrolled in our accredited program.
25% - Comply with APA and APPIC guidelines to maintain accreditation and membership. Complete program reports, grant reports, annual and periodic accreditation reports (including accreditation self-study), and any additional materials requested by agencies or Program Directors.
Consistent with accreditation regulations, manage and update the internship website and the program database of former pre-doctoral trainees, which includes over 800 alumni, and communicate with alumni as the needs of the program dictate.
20% - Independently responsible for procurement activities related to the training program and the program's trainees;
includes retention of materials for proper invoicing to agency as well as accurate record keeping of goods, supplies, and equipment.
Responsible for managing and coordinating travel for interns. Also requires knowledge of training program rules and policies related to allowable procurement expenditures.
- 10% - Responsible for timekeeping all types of leave (annual, sick, professional) for all enrolled interns. Manages monthly supplemental pay for approximately 9 VA- and grant-funded interns.
- 10% - Liaise with MUSC Human Resources regarding onboarding & termination of interns within the Charleston Consortium Internship Program.
Liaise with VAMC Human Resources to onboard VA funded interns into government system.
5% - Coordinate quarterly payments to Department of Psychiatry CECAR for online course continuing education certificates, and other related duties associated with the mission of the Division.
Preferred Training and Experience : A bachelor's degree and three years business, personnel, grant-in-aid experience. Knowledge of various software programs such as Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom, and PowerPoint.
