We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed. Clean Harbors Kimball is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our team! $35+ hourly, DOE, paid weekly. Monday- Friday, 45 hrs. per week minimum, 5 / 9 hr. days.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all timesTroubleshoots instrument and control malfunctionsPerforms preventative maintenance checks and calibrationsMaintains accurate records and logs as requiredInstalls new system controls (including power wiring)Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centersServices and replaces motors and lightingPerforms general electrical maintenanceOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma or Equivalent- required1-5 years combined electrical / instrumentation, plant experience and related education - requiredInstrument and / or electrical training, degree, or certification - requiredJourneyman Electrician License -preferredProficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics- requiredProficiency in process and PLC instrumentation diagrams- requiredAbility to work in team environmentDOT TrainingProficiency in Windows based applicationsAbility to perform multiple tasksLifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your wasteClimb up and down vertical laddersCapable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force20 / 20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)Good hand / eye coordinationValid Driver's License requiredPunctuality and attendance requiredRespirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)Background check, drug screen and physical- requiredApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time, including F1-OPT work authorization.Join our team today!
