About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2661 To $2956 Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 9-hour days, Monday-Friday, varied shifts between 0730 / 0830-1600 / 1800 Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Prefer 2 years of either Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience License : ARRT Certifications : BLS (AHA Only) Must-Have : - Ability to assist physicians with arteriograms and other specialized radiologic procedures- Knowledge of sterile techniques- Completion of EPIC training- Ability to take 8-9 call shifts per 6 weeks Job Description : Prepare examination areas for procedures- Practice sterile techniques- Assist physicians with various procedures including vascular and neurovascular procedures, biopsies, drains, and lines- Pass supplies, and take exposures as directed by the physician- Operate complex radiology equipment including fluoro machines and ultrasound devices- Transport patients as necessary- Work independently alongside a Registered Nurse- Participate in a 3-5 day orientation with additional EPIC training- Work on a unit with 5 procedure rooms with surgical scrubs provided
