Senior Tax Manager

Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Tewksbury Massachusetts in search of a highly talented Senior Tax Manager specializing in Flow Through taxation .

Job Summary :

As a Senior Tax Manager on the Flow Through team you will be a valued business advisor delivering industryfocused tax advisory and compliance services to middle market clients.

You will work closely with firm leadership to serve clients build the business and have a direct impact on the firms success.

Additionally you will mentor and coach talented staff utilizing your expertise to develop their technical and professional skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

• Provide various federal tax compliance and consulting services to industryspecific clients
• Lead client relationships on daytoday tax matters for clients ranging from startup to middle market
• Consult on technical matters and special projects in corporate and flowthrough taxation accounting methods and compliance
• Research tax matters respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries and make recommendations to clients
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters
• Manage client engagement staffing billings / collections and ensure client profitability targets are met
• Network and build strong relationships to acquire new clients projects and revenue
• Support the growth and development of team members through mentoring and counseling

Qualifications : I. Education :

I. Education :

• Bachelors degree in accounting law or similar business degree (required)
• Masters or advanced degree (preferred)
• CPA or JD (required)

II. Experience :

• 8 years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm
• 5 years of supervisory experience mentoring and counseling associates
• Demonstrated management analytical organization interpersonal project management and communication skills

III. License(s) / Certification(s) :

• CPA license (required)
• JD (alternative to CPA)
