Job Description

Description

The Addiction Therapist provides emotional or mental health therapy or counseling in an outpatient setting, facilitates therapy sessions for patients, assesses mental or emotional disorders, gathers and interprets social, personal, environmental and health information, develops treatment plans and individual goals, and modifies plans over time in response to patient progress.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling. (Required)

Experience

2 Years experience in the clinical field (Required)

2 Years experience in treating patients with addiction (Required)

License / Certifications

PA-CADC - PA Cert Alcohol&Drug Counselor (Preferred) or LPC-LIC - PA Lic Professional Counselor (Preferred) or SW-LIC - PA Social Worker License (Preferred)
