- Student Onsite Hours : 8 : 30 AM - 12 : 30 PM
- Flexibility : District is flexible on when hours are completed
School Year Schedule : 25 Hours Per Week
Flexibility : District is flexible on schedule
Work Setting : Itinerant across the district
Pay Rate : $40 - $50 per hour
Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time position in Thousand Oaks, CA.
This role includes providing services during the Extended School Year (ESY) and the 2024 / 2025 school year. You will work with students across the district, offering vital physical therapy services.
Responsibilities :
- Provide physical therapy services to students in need, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Work itinerantly across the district, offering services to approximately 23 students, totaling around 450 minutes per month.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate district and student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and development.
- Document and track student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in California.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
