• Design, deploy, maintain, automate, and troubleshoot virtual and physical servers, as well as storage systems.
• Develop and execute project plans for virtualization initiatives, including infrastructure scaling and migrations.
• Automate routine infrastructure operations in a private cloud environment (VMware).
• Create and manage automation tools, including the development of REST API integration scripts.
• Strictly adhere to RingCentral's change management policies and procedures.
• Provide on-call support for server, storage, and virtual infrastructure. Required Qualifications
• Advanced proficiency with VMware (8.X) and vSphere in a large-scale environment.
• Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of maintaining Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows operating systems.
• Solid understanding of data center networking and storage technologies.
• Configuration management experience with tools like Ansible,
• Competency in scripting using Bash and Python.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 6 years specifically related to x86 virtualization. Desired Qualifications
• Familiarity with the vRealize Suite (Operations, Log Insight)
• Experience with Netapp and / or EMC storage systems. As Plus
• Puppet and Foreman as plus
• vRealize Suite (Orchestrator, Automation) as plus
