JOB TITLE : Shipping & Receiving Specialist
JOB LOCATION : North Chicago, IL
JOB TYPE : Temp to Hire
PAY : $22.50 / HOUR
1st SHIFT : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM (Monday - Friday)
About the Shipping Specialist Role :
Are you a detail-oriented shipping pro with a solid understanding of Federal regulations (DOT compliance) ? We’re looking for a skilled Shipping Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and communicates effectively across all levels.
Job Duties :
- Responsible for UPS / FedEx small package shipments and deliveries
- Assist with SDS database
- Lend support to Regulatory Projects and Security
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with minimum supervision
- Properly segregate, label, transport, store, record, and inspect hazardous and non-hazardous materials
