Customer Service :
Provide excellent service to all guests, ensuring their understanding of I71 compliance and the services offered by the store.
Maintain a friendly and welcoming environment.
Education and Compliance : Educate customers on I71 regulations and ensure all transactions are compliant with D.C. laws.
This includes understanding the distinction between selling cannabis and providing it as a gift with a qualifying purchase.
Product Knowledge : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and related accessories available in the store. Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs.
Inventory Management : Assist in managing inventory levels, including tracking, ordering, and organizing products. Ensure the store is well-stocked and presentable.
Cash Handling and Transactions : Process transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash and operate the POS system.
Store Maintenance : Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained. This includes regular cleaning and organizing products and displays.
Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Compliance with Regulations : Stay informed about changes in cannabis laws and regulations in D.C. and ensure the store remains compliant.
Qualifications :
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of cannabis products and I71 regulations is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic math and computer skills.
Must pass any necessary background checks as required by local regulations.
Work Environment :
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
Availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
