Job Overview : Available Immediately

Introduction

This position will assist with maintenance of existing legacy applications and support the transition to a new system architecture.

Location is the Reston area. NOTE : Additional security scrub required.

Required skills and demonstrated experience :

• Significant years of Full Stack development experience; Java Preferred
• Demonstrated experience with Java and JavaScript
• Experience working on an application built on client / server based architecture
• Experience developing, implementing and maintaining complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers in support of applications
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Proficiency in GitHub
• Proficiency with Jenkins
• Proficiency with JIRA

Highly desired, though not required, include :

• Familiarity with ElasticSearch and ELK stack
• Familiarity with the Sponsor's A&A process
• Familiarity with DevOps
• Demonstrated experience using C# software language
• Design and deploy bug fixes written in the C# software language to support an existing legacy system
• B.S. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

US Citizenship :

This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.

Security Clearance :

• The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
• Clearance Verification : This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements.

You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Travel :

This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). Local travel / POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance.
