Element Building Solutions is a General Contractor based in Detroit, MI and focused on providing solutions for commercial and institutional projects. In addition to a large assembly of subcontractors, our teams self perform framing and concrete work on all of our projects.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Estimator located in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, conducting quantity take-offs, managing project costs, and preparing budgets. The role involves regular communication with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate and timely delivery of cost estimates and budgets.

Qualifications

• Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs skills including but not limited to (Drywall, Cold Metal Framing)
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools including Planswift, BlueBeam
• Experience in Cost Management and Budgeting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
