Location : Titusville, Florida 32796 (Space Coast)\n

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital – Med / Surg Tele & PCU Unit\n

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026)\n

Nursing Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 00)\n

Hours per Week : 36\n

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,260 - $1,350\n

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n

Orientation : Mandatory 5 shifts (36-40 hours first week)\n

Parking : Free in any unrestricted space\n

Scrub Color : Any\n

Charting System : Meditech EMR\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry or PCU nursing experience\n

Active Florida or compact RN license\n

Certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS (or willing to obtain before start)\n

Experience with 1 : 6 patient ratios and PCU-level care\n

Telemetry and cardiac drip experience required; cardiac drip titration preferred\n

Proven adult and geriatric patient care skills\n

Orthopedic and total joint replacement nursing experience strongly preferred\n

Ability to float to other units within nursing scope\n

Must reside at least 30 miles from facility (no local travel nurses)\n

COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n

Ability to complete required modules (approx. 4 hours) prior to start\n

\n\nMed / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n \n

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a mixed Med / Surg Tele and PCU unit\n

Manage a 1 : 6 patient ratio, including PCU-level patients\n

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias\n

Administer cardiac drips (no titration), manage central and peripheral lines, and provide chest tube care\n

Provide post-operative orthopedic and total joint replacement care\n

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (PT, RT, Pharmacy, Social Services, etc.)\n

Float to other hospital units within nursing scope as needed\n

Document patient care using Meditech EMR\n

Participate in rapid response / code teams as required\n

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and scheduling flexibility\n
